All of our pride items are designed by members or allies of the LGBTQ+ community. This year's design features a line of individual paw prints representing the 11 colors of the Progress Pride flag. The words "Guide with Pride" are set in the Gilbert font which was designed to honor Gilbert Baker, the creator of the rainbow flag 🏳️‍🌈, and the initials “GWP” (for Guide with Pride) are represented in visual Braille following the text. The dark gray of the apparel item is a nod to the disability pride flag that has a dark gray background and features the same or very similar colors as the Progress Pride flag, all of which represent diversity and inclusion.
